How to Become a Student of the International Digital University (IDU)
Dear applicants! Ready to change the world? IDU is your gateway to a successful career in IT, business, and marketing. The admission process is simple and transparent. Follow these four steps to join IDU.
Document Submission
After successfully passing the ICAT entrance exam, the final step is to collect and submit all required documents to the Admissions Office.
Main Document Package:
- Original education certificate (school certificate or college/lyceum diploma).
- Official ICAT exam results.
- Official offer letter from the University.
- Copy of passport and other personal documents (if required).

IDU Programs
Regardless of which specialty you choose in the future, everything starts with our mandatory Foundation program (preparatory year). It gives you a powerful foundation for further study.

Main Exam: ICAT
The main requirement for admission to IDU is the successful completion of the ICAT (International Common Admission Test). This is a standardised test designed to assess your readiness for studying at our university.

IELTS Score Requirements
For admission to IDU Foundation programmes, certificates such as IELTS, TOEFL, or SAT are accepted. The minimum required score may vary depending on the selected programme:

* Minimum admission requirements (including IELTS overall and section-specific requirements, for example Writing 5.5, as well as conditions for exemption from the Mathematics exam) may change annually.
Applicants should always check the most up-to-date Admission Rules and requirements on the official IDU website or contact the Admissions Committee directly.
Exam Exemption
- If your IELTS score meets the minimum requirements, you are exempt from taking the English ICAT entrance exam.
- However, to apply for a grant, you will still be required to take internal exams in English and Mathematics.
Grant Advantages
IDU offers grants for education. Although IELTS exempts from the language exam, to participate in winning grants (30%, 50%, 70%), applicants may need to take an internal exam in mathematics and English and score high points:

When submitting documents to the Admissions Committee, please provide the original (or a certified copy) of your valid IELTS certificate.
Waiting for Enrolment Confirmation
After your IELTS score has been verified, you will receive official notification of your enrolment.
Please note: The deadlines for submitting the IELTS certificate must coincide with the document submission deadlines for the relevant academic year.
